  1. Thanks for the comments! It’s a little rocky right now but I feel positive that this is my forever quilt. I’m definitely more informed than in the past. Watched almost all of the Joel videos. Not one puff. Easy Peasy.
  2. I did read the Easy Way a few years ago. Helped me quit for a while.

  4. Was chewing plain gum but decided to stop. Now I’m definitely having thoughts of smoking. It’s weird because I have been watching all Joel’s videos to get my mind right. Do you guys know he has never smoked. Anyway I think his videos are good and positive. Just having a hard time after 2 weeks not one puff.

    Help!! I want to go buy a pack but I’m posting here first. I had a real panic when a text message came on my phone. It said that MAGA wants to defund SS. I assume that means disability which I am on. Can they really do that? Boy it makes me want to smoke.

  11. I want to describe what I experience in my quit journey. I’m not sure what to call this but it’s not a physical craving. In fact the first few days of my quit had no physical symptoms. I sure missed smoking, but it wasn’t a drug withdrawal. I am chewing plain gum and that works for me in this regard. It replaces smokes in the cycle of desire and satisfaction. This cycle is a main part of what I miss. I want a cigarette, I have a cigarette. That in itself, the wanting and the having, is the addiction. Just wondering if anyone one can relate to this.

    Thanks so much for the comments. My rational mind understands all the advice. But there is a dark side that wants to say screw it and throw everything out the window. It really does seem like a battle between good and evil.
