  1. Sure will as long as you hide your husband's cell phone! ?
  2. I agree. If she does not appear soon. I will have to take a road trip to Texas.
  3. Nope to smoking and Nope no snow for Christmas
  4. My husband and I just joined planet fitness. It was so reasonably priced and they had a special join fee of $1.00. They are not finished building the one close to us. It should be done in January. I need to start my new year getting some exercise. Have gained some weight in my first quit months. I am not familiar with Blink.

Okay, I am not a smoking hot babe anymore. I am a smokeless old lady now.
  6. Way to go Kate. It gets easier every day. You have this quit, now keep it going! I was amazed at the awe I felt when I quit and got through the first week.

  8. Nope!
  9. Wow T, who has time for smoking when they are baking such beautiful muffins! Another one just breezing through her quit without a complaint! Washington is a little far for me or I would come have a taste. You definitely have a gift for baking. Let us know when you open you own shop, we will put it on or bucket list! Keep that great quit going!
  10. That is so wonderful Kate. There is nothing like grandchildren. You quitting smoking is going to be such a gift to them also. Grandma is going to be around for all those magic moments!
  11. Nope!
  12. Parsley, you and I must be in the same place. I feel the same about my quit. Is this not the best Christmas gift ever. You have a very Merry Christmas and a Wonderful New Year!
  13. I love this too. There is nothing more precious than a child. To look at our quit in these terms lets us know that it needs to be held dear and protected. The wisdom on this forum abounds!
  14. I also love your nopes but I love it even more you have breezed through 3 mos!. You are not even a complainer. It seems as if you just set your mind to it and stopped smoking. One great quit! Keep it going!
  15. Okay, I wrote this one month ago. Going back and rereading this, I am thinking "who is this person"? I was sure I could not do the holidays without the calming effects that I felt smoking gave me. Well guess what? Not much has changed in my life. Still as crazy as ever. Christmas is two weeks away and I don't have my ducks all in a row and I feel fine. I used to feel that it was everyone else that had to make things better for me but, in reality, it was me that had to make the change. That change was me quitting smoking. I have never felt better about myself. I feel so much more powerful and in control of my life. I guess I would like to say thanks to all of you for giving me the best gift this year. You have given me the gift of friendship, support and most of all the ability to see that I had the strength to conquer my addiction. Linda .
  16. That is it Kate. That is the feeling of having the power over your own life. You are going to be smiling more and more.
  17. Nope!
  18. Good girl for posting and talking yourself through it. I think you are experiencing a little panic attack, which is just a part of the quitting process. Kate, you have made it four days. The worst is almost over. I promise it will get better each day. Every time you resist that desire to smoke, you become stronger and more powerful.
  19. Sorry Wee, I think I am a little slow today. It is for the puppies. If it is for the dogs, I definitely need the recipe. My husband makes our dogs the puppy ice cream cups. They probably would go crazy over that.
  20. Actually looks like a brownie. Tell me the poopies are a pet or do you eat it so you get the poopies? It gags me just to make my husband liver and onions.
  21. @Cbdave one of the dangers of free balling
  22. What is a liver cake.

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
