Congratulations Parsley. We traveled this journey together and within a month of each other. It is wonderful to celebrate with you. I know you probably felt like me and could not wait to get to this point. Enjoy the LIdo Deck!

I guess I will take #2 because it is the only one left but it better not be the lie!

You win Reci! My Great, Great Grandpa Black was a famous General. His picture hangs in the Library in Colonial Williamsburg. My Great, Great Grandmother was a Daughter of the Revolution, so I am automatically a member. I found this stuff out when I did the ancestry thing.

I am so glad you connected with your neighbor. Sounds like you both will be supporting each other. Hellkat, you are doing awesome. I don't think your doctor will have a problem with the cannabis. I am finding more and more people who have had there doctors recommend it. Sleep well tonight.

I knew I shouldn't have answered. My minds still swirling from the party. Might take me a while to get it working!

Boy hellkat, I was beginning to think you were superwoman. I knew that radiation had to hit sometime. Your body needs to recoup from the radiation. Accept the fact that you are going to be tired for a while. Fortunately, it will not last forever. Can't believe Deadpool jammies come in adult sizes. I bet you look cute! I just googled the CBD/THC. Isn't it amazing how they have found cannabis to have such great medicinal value. You are doing so great handling all these new challenges. That positive attitude is going to carry you through all this. Take care and rest.

Hi Mightyboosh. You found the right place to quit. I smoked for 42 years and tried every way possible to quit. This wonderful group of supporters were the trick for me. You can do this. Just read and educate yourself about the addiction. Stay close to the forum. We are here to help you through.

They are so cute. Love the devil horns. My Angel needs those. She looked like an Angel but I think she is the instigator in my pack. One looks like a big guy. How old are they? What are their names. You said they have been out of the crate. I don't think I will ever be able to take mine out of the crates. Those pups are the best medicine for you. Don't worry about the hair loss. My friends, who lost hers, during treatment, had it grow back much thicker and curlier. It was beautiful. Now is the time to rest and mentally prepare for the next battle. You are doing great.

C'mon smokers. It really is not as difficult as you think. I smoked for 42 years and spent the last 15 years trying different methods to quit; always giving into the addiction. I became so discouraged. I knew the dangers of smoking and saw my father-in-law die of lung cancer from smoking. I was so embarrassed and ashamed that I became a closet smoker. As a result, I did not want to do much and mostly stayed home and smoked. I was terrified I would die of a smoking related illness. One day, I stumbled across the Quittrain forum and started lurking and reading everything I could. I finally summoned the courage to post and join in the conversations. Everyone here jumped in and started guiding me. These strangers seemed as if they had known me my whole life. Of course they did, because at one time they were like me. They knew what I needed to hear to muster the courage to quit. With a little humor and encouragement, they held me up through the difficult weeks and guided me into a smoke free life. Hop on the train and give it a try. Freedom from nicotine addiction is a wonderful result.
