    My Quit, My Dad

I had very little confidence, when I started my quit. I was so ashamed of smoking. The forum really held me up through my quit. Every day without that cigarette, gives you so much power. Stay close and we will help you get there too!
  3. I would definitely take that as a clue. Why put off the inevitable. You have to get the nicotine out of your system anyhow, why not just do it. Just keep looking ahead and keep you eye on the prize - a life free of smoking.

    My Quit, My Dad

A very sweet picture. My father-in-law also died of smoking related lung cancer. I thought it was a terrible death. I still continued to smoke thinking it would not affect me, I am young and will quit, .........................42 years later and I was still smoking and making excuses. I pinch myself everyday and can't believe I have finally quit and how powerful I feel. You will get there too mrsguest.
  5. I think I would talk to the pharmacist. Maybe they are a bad batch. I did try them years ago but ended up quitting cold turkey.
  6. We have three. Here is my troop. Missy (left), Angel (middle) and Zoey (left).

    TEAM DEADPOOL

Hellkatbaby, it is so great to hear from you. Cut yourself some slack on how you are feeling. It is normal for your emotions to be all over place. Try to start your day with the confidence that you are beating this battle. Listen to your body each day. It is letting you know what you need at the moment. I do think you should try another therapist. Sometimes it takes clicking with the right person. Lean on that family. Love is the best medicine. Know that I continue to pray for you and hope you can start seeing some positive results. X Linda

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
