  23. Having to start over is still better than giving up trying to quit. I wish you well and read some of the different methods used by members here. Nine days in a hospital with pneumonia did it for me. Not the best way to get there though. Best wishes going forward.
  24. Hang on Gracie. Do whatever helps to keep your mind off smoking. It will pass and you will be stronger for it. stay close to the board and S.O.S. if you need to. We have all been through this and all needed support. Best wishes.
  25. Thanks to everyone for the support over the years. For all you newbies, hang in there and stay the course. You can do this. My only regret other than starting to smoke in the first place is that I wish I`d have quit much sooner. Perhaps if this wonderful site would been around then who knows.

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
