  7. Darcy, most of us here have failed at least once or more in our battle to quit and stay quit. :Pick a date and give it a shot. The early days of quitting is something we all have to go through. It was rough for me but not as bad as I had imagined. Sound advice from Jillar about quitting and stopping the more severe damages from smoking. You want this and you can do this. Give it a chance and come aboard. best wishes.

  19. I hope you can find comfort in your life. You have much to offer others. try to turn your grief into positive actions as you have by stopping smoking. Turn the positive action towards helping family and others. There is a song by Laura Story called "Blessings" that has always helped me through some tough times which seem endless at times. We all know loss in our life. "Suffering is part of the deal" I hope better times ahead for you.

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
