Thanks @notsmokinjo for ensuring these crucial days are celebrated, not just for me but so many others. Thank you all for the wishes, however honestly, didn't even strike me the date has gone by. Not sure if that's a good thing or a bad one. I just logged into the forum to wish members on their anniversaries, and there was my thread. Great surprise. I did inadvertently celebrate by watching "how to train your dragon 3" Thank you for the incessant support and wishes.

Hi everyone, sorry for not being able to login. Have been in weird weather Dallas for the last few days, annual break to celebrate my niece's birthday (the elder one turned 5) and to spend time with the second one who's gonna turn four months in a couple of days. Haven't fallen off the train for sure. Hope all of you lovely people are doing good.

It's so cool that you have your quitversary just a couple of days after mine @MLMR. Yours has been a journey I have seen and evolve over the past 6 months. I have seen you evolve into a more determined person, who really has fought so hard for her quit, through all the peaks and troughs. Standing at the edge of that cliff, each time you've pulled back from falling into the Nicodemon's void. Bravo my friend. Every time you've pushed back, you've pushed this addiction further away from you. You've kept your quit intact which is such an amazing feat I couldn't mention it enough. So yes, please please celebrate, here's to rejuvenating cells, refreshing days, restful nights and peace knowing you're saving a ton of money and it's going to keep getting better. Excelsior!!!

Another glorious start to the day with all these beautiful messages. Thanks everyone for the love and encouragement. I am humbled and thankful that you feel I have been able to contribute to this amazing forum in any way. Trust me, in doing the teeny tiny bit I could, I was actually helping myself because it put so many things in perspective for me. Celebrating milestones with everyone helps me realize the bravery and grit so many of you have, overcoming far tougher challenges that me, and still sticking to your quit. That gives me the strength to go on. Reading and responding (wherever I can) to SOS messages makes me realize I'm not the only one who feels helpless sometimes when a trigger becomes too intense to ignore. That gives me hope that all is not lost. The playful banter ensures I get a good laugh and helps me get through some mini craves that may occur from time to time. All in all, a huge part of what I am in my quit journey has been shaped by this forum. I am proud to be a part of this superhero team (yes that's what all of you are), that keeps on doing it's duty, no matter what. Thank you.

Yaay, thank you guys, totally forgot about this, and just logged in to register my Nope for the day (even though technically the day is over :P) Can never thank you guys enough for being such amazing friends through thick and thin...I wish I could personally meet and party with each one of you...but do know that I always wish well and think fondly about all my amazing friends on here at the train. Party tonight at home...a couple of small pegs of whisky should cut it, what do you guys reckon?

So so proud of you GITW, takes a steely determination and iron clad will to control your craves during stressful moments. You're a champ mate...get well soon.

-6 Oh, dreaded Mumbai summer is beginning for me...the one where your skin melts off your face and you can be a victim of spontaneous combustion ? (pun intended but it feels like that) I do hope you get some respite from the cold soon

GITW, sorry about the accident, I do hope you receive medical care soon Smoking will actually slow down your healing process mate... you've got such a beautiful quit going, don't throw it away. It won't reduce the pain, because anything you get out of that smoke, apart from a filthy smell and nicotine in your system will be temporary and so NOT WORTH it. You've been quit for a year and 4 months now GITW...and what a quit it's been. You know you can kick this trigger. Please keep us posted about the stitches, and hope you feel better soon. KTQ!!!
