Wow, uncanny how I've been thinking along similar lines. How I was wondering about so many instances where, whether happy or sad, stressed or excited, my response would be to have a smoke. And though there's been no trigger as such, I'm quite wary of one popping up suddenly. This is an interesting read because it reminds me how I still can be tricked by my mind and "constant vigilance" (Potter fans would recognize this phrase) is the only way forward.

Aah, yeah "Indian knitting", Crochet is almost a lost art, but I used to be fascinated myself when I travelled and saw someone knitting. The speed with which those needles would weave in and out, the patters coming to life, the colours, it was mesmerising. Amazing that you can crochet blankets, I'm sure they must be custom made as per what your family needs...how cool is that.

Wow, Calligraphy too...wanted to try, but never got around to doing it. Even this painting was my birthday gift to me. There's a company called "The Bombay Drawing Room" which has these guided painting classes, and I absolutely love Van Gogh's work, and they were doing this one...so voila, ended up stumbling into this rendition. But I thoroughly enjoyed it.
