  1. Perhaps you're doing better than you think.
  2. @jillar and @Katgirl, thank you for your inputs and appreciate it. Especially the concern Perhaps you may watch Science of fasting and Intermittent Fasting lecture by Dr. Jason Fung. They're both kind of long ... I will acknowledge that most people do not like the idea of not eating multiple meals a day including my Dr.
  3. That is awesome! Sugar is the enemy of weight loss. btw, there is new research to show all calories are not equal. I won't go into it here as the few people I've mentioned it to have been resistant to the idea but the information is out there if interested.
  4. Congratulations @IamMommaBear! The first month's the hardest. Stay strong.
  5. It's Wed night and I ate this evening after 72hrs. It's a pretty amazing journey. Did harder than normal workouts on Day 1 and 2 and took it easy today with only a walk after the meal. I think I can no longer eat as much when I do eat and the stomach feels full quickly (or it could be that the refeed process is slow with gaps and causes one to feel full early). Will stick to omad and 48hr fasts for the next 2 or 3 months and next long fast will be a 5-day fast. The waistline is down for sure. For anyone interested, you can look for Science of Fasting or Dr. Jason Fung's lectures on Youtube.
  6. Congratulations on 9 years, Leanna.
  7. I googled it - I thought it had some personal significance (which it does but didn't realize it had a general significance). A bit naive?

Hope it's a mild case @Linda since you have both your shots. I've read reports of people testing positive only to test negative 3 days later so don't know how the tests work.
  9. That is so nice @Opah. Congratulations!
  10. Is 420 significant? It's a nice reverse sequence of even numbers.
  11. @Katgirl you've got a great workout going. I wouldn't worry too much about the calorie calculations by the different machines - they may have their own margins of error. As long as your body is telling you it was a good workout, that's important.
  12. @mightyboosh, Congratulations on 2 years.
  13. @jillar, that's why there are numbers. You can keep the name you like and add numbers before, after or both. Personally, I think having numbers in-between is cool too.
  14. 4 weeks omad done which included 3 48hr fasts. So have had 6 meals a week last 3 weeks. Had a feast tonight and starting a 72hr fast. Will next eat Wed night and intend to do all workouts as normal. This is such a win - no shopping, no cooking, no cleaning, save money AND heal the body.
  15. Congratulations @darcy. Glad you're back on the train.
  16. Congratulations on 2 months @Kris I know it has not been a smooth journey for you but you've been strong and brave. Stay strong.
