I am contemplating getting one of the oxygen conspirators for when I hike and Hunt. Getting older and those mountains and hills haven't gotten less steep. They have come down on cost a bunch from when they first came out.

Ok here my quip, seems soon as a doctor hears you use to smoke you automatically have COPD, its kinda like Autism in kids way over diagnosed in my opinion. But now that I am doing well in my quip and I do know that COPD is a concern I should keep an eye out for what should I be looking for ? I hag's seen many elephants that have tried to sit on my chest and shortness periodically of breath and coughing up the crap your lungs are now expelling is common when you are quitting / smoke free. So lets leave the elephant at the circus and give me some factual symptoms. What did you feel before and when you knew for sure you had COPD?

Yes that did it My gloomy overcast day has turn to Calm and cool misty day , that was meant for adventures to happen

Been kicking this around, If I had never smoked I would not have been handing with the Bad Tough kids. I would not have ditched my school to go to school with and if I hadn't done that I would have never met the love of my life. No way I would take a chance of never having her in my life, so I would not change a thing, After my first wife passed I would change a bunch of things. Well maybe after my nap I would ?

Linda Hey you ! How are you doing ? You know you were a big part of me really working at trying to get to the SOS.
-
Thank you I was really happy with my self, I over came the adversity, maintained my cool, kept my thoughts clear and precise. up until the urge hit me. My cousin was happy he has been wanting to quit and swore I wouldnt, so who knows may get him on the road to being smoke free.

On my way to my wildlife refuge Duty, couple mile before my exit my truck start to die. Get to the side of the I15 in the middle of the desert and coast to a stop. my alternator belt broken and without charge my battery die. This was not a side of the freeway repair so I call my Cousin, He lives back down the freeway 80 or so miles, so long story short we get it to run without the belt and get it to the refuge and my cousin heads back home. Now all this time I am doing ready good, until I start to see what I need to do to fix it. So after 3 or so hours and still no closer to getting it fixed the beer and 100 degrees start getting to me and then it happens I WANT A SMOKE, Not a little urge so I grab my phone type in quit train and up it pops go to SOS and No way Jose, must log in to access SOS so I try one of the others again ONE WAY JOSE. By the time I gave up the cussing and cursing trying to get access the urge had shrank down to something I could deal with. Well with 3 tall boys down and a super great Smoked Ribeye steak consumed I dosed off. Crises Obverted my quit is intact I forgot to mention my cousin is a chain smoker, we use to run together when I hit the Bars rally hard back in the day. I also forgot to mention he owned the Bar, free beer !

OK my work week is almost over, I am heading up to Protect my wildlife refuge from all the bad guys, Running My trusted Gator down the dry riverbed at break neck speeds, HEE HAAA I'll call out as a bug fly's down my throat gagging me. I break off the chase to complete my high speed snack by washing its buzzing butt down with a beverage. Damn the Bad guys ran for the boarder again and got away, while at least till next we meet. I will get back to you all in 4 days, keep on keeping On my friends and acquaints

-
I have confidence in you Linda, you have been in this spot before and you struggled your way thru it and you can again. Be your own counsel if I were you what would you tell me, what would you suggest I should Do! Tell me Help me please Linda why should I not smoke that cigar I have hiden in my freezer!

There you go you still made my Day !

Your 4 months was not a waste of time, The healing has started,. all you have leaned was not a waste of time, all you have been thru was not a waste of time Now the time you spend holding onto those smokes you bought is a waste of time. Don't be me and wait for a heart attach, your eyes to start going blind Don't you give up, reset your counter and get back to it
-
OK You stumbled, dust your self off and get back on track, Call, PM, jog to or drive to this one person, Hug , cry and work your way out of this darkness. So what little advice I have for this Moment is Primal screams Get a Pillow bury your face in it and scream, curse, and Yell. Kick your Feet and have an all out tantrum, exhaust your self, get it all out. If once is not enough do it twice and 3 times. You are not done, your quit is not done

What a fantastic thing to start my day with, Good Job Linda ! Not only did you do something wondrously Great for your self You gave a great start to Many here, also, your strength and determination honors you !
