Hey Kat thank you for being concerned, Karen Carpenter just goes way back with me, But i think that any one who died from Anorexia would be sad. One would think starvation would be 100% preventable.

Just a little story Linda Back when things were not so well off, we lived in a old house my grand father built back after the world war 2. 'No AC, the plumbing was old and the electrical wasn't made to support all the new gadgets, My wife would get down and in the blues sometimes, because we didn't own our own house and our cars would break down. so I would pack her up and take a drive down Rosecrans Blvd. Now Rosecrans Blvd. paralleled the railroad tracks that fed down from L.A. As you drove down heading towards L.A. you would start seeing people living in Card board boxes and the further you went the more Families you would see, dirty children plating in the dirt and trash. By the time we got home she was so happy to be where we were. As my Grand Father would say: No matter how Bad you have it, there is always things that are worse. Look at your Blessing and work for a better tomorrow.

You know my life has been a pretty good life, as much as I screwed around and didn't take things serious such as High school, I didn't get my diploma until I was 50 years old, didn't need it till then. I learned as I worked moved from one job to the next, got married at 19, had my first baby at 21 bought my first house at 29. I only bought new trucks since I was 21, I got tired of repairing some ones ex-problem that was now mine. I worked hard and played hard, I have very few regrets. If God were to call me home tomorrow I believe I could go without hesitation. Now with that said I had better get me some unfinished and important things to do. I have a lot of life ahead and would really like to have a reason or 10 to tell God no I got things to do and I am not ready.
