  18. I'm so sorry you're dealing with this, Kate. I hope you get answers quickly and that is a virus or some other best-case scenario, and that you're feeling much better very soon. Be good to yourself and try not to worry too much while you're waiting for answers. And well done on realizing that there's not a damn bit of good a cigarette could do. We'll be thinking of you and hoping to hear some encouraging news.

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
