  2. I always knew that if I could get through day one I could get through all the days!! Congrats on the milestone hun, day one is a big day and Im proud of you :)
  3. What if your not afraid and you already know smoking offers nothing? I still have urges that come out of no where. Like today I walked into the house and immediately I thought about sitting outside with a smoke. Of course I shut it down but I haven't had one of those in a few weeks. Sorry, I've been bothered by this urge all day today and have been trying to figure out how to not have the smack you right over the head, out of the middle of no where, urges. Am I not at the point you describe above?
  4. 3.82 miles yesterday, 3.25 today. Push ups and abs in the dirt after both runs. Can't wait till my weekend cheat day!!
  5. Lol..If my child doesn't have a fever or vomiting I'm right with ya! I'm not raising a boy to have a "man cold", lol.
  6. Haha! Bandito warned me!!
  7. I like eating shelled peanuts or pistachios. Keeps your hands busy while you snack.

  9. DD once Im done with my current book Im gonna get the first WD graphic novel. Can you get them in a combined book format or do they have to be individually bought? I will most likely get them digitally, what would you suggest?

  14. I've been consistent these past two weeks with kickboxing and or 3 to 4 miles walk/jog. I've been throwing in some bad and arm stuff too. I'm not looking a ton of weight but I can feel muscles building and my body changing which is great!
  15. Haha...nope. I wish. Considered the pellet gun but not sure it would do the job in one shot. I do like the feeder idea, keeps pets away. We've been toying around with that for a while.
  16. That's awesome ladybugs! You are doing so great in your quit. Don't you love looking back and thinking how uneventful quitting really was. As a smoker quitting is like the apocalypse, but once it's done your like that's all you got? Way to go girl!
  17. You know I'm always on board :)
  18. 3:16 pm eastern here.
  19. I wish I had the ability to plant like this. Any suggestions, live on post and no garden? Plant tomatoes and stuff in pots but squirrels won't stay off.
  20. Lol, It could have been me and the frozen reference. My youngest loves the snowman and reindeer! My neighbor and her daughter live for the song, I HATE IT!! It is on all the time and its just not that great of a song. I saw this parody the other day, its pretty funny! My only problem is even the musical tone of the song is frustrating and I can't even watch the parodies, haha
  21. Its so frustrating isn't it! im so sorry for your friend beacon. My father in law is the same way. He never had the heart attack but almost did, has a stent in place and still smokes. Next time he won't be so lucky. Hugs to you.
  22. Double Digits!! Your amazing! Congratulations on your quit and thank you for everything you have done to help myself and others!

  25. Congrats Bassman on your three months! Your video would not work for me but if its anything like your others I know it was great!

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
