  1. Another great update yoda, thanks for sharing.
  2. A piece of chocolate sounds yummy for your reward @overcome. Nice ticker too, look at all the money saved and cigarettes not smoked already! I loved watching mine that first year quit. It was so inspiring and also showed me all the work I would lose if I caved to a crave! You're doing great

    Lies

Nixter Quit Date: 6/7/15 Posted June 27, 2015 So basically what I'm figuring out is that cigarettes and nicotine are big fat liars. For all those years they kept me at their beck and call by making me afraid. I was afraid to quit because I thought I wouldn't be able to have fun without a cig. LIE. I was afraid to quit because I thought it would be too hard. LIE. I was afraid to quit because I thought every day would be like day 1. LIE. I was afraid to quit because I wouldn't be "me" without my smokes. LIE!! I am telling you, I feel more joy at social situations than I ever have!! Why? Because I can concentrate on having fun instead of worrying when I can sneak outside for a cigarette. I physically feel soooo much better already. And I'm also really proud of myself. But I have to be honest and say I'm a little pissed that I was duped for so long. Anyway, I'm so happy to be a non smoker. Thanks for being here for me! 12. Stick close in the beginning days @overcome, we got your back This addiction is crazy but you're well prepared for it. Drink lots of water or juice to help flush it out. The nicotine takes about three days to leave your body
  13. 6. Make a dress for Lady Gaga with them
  14. 3. Make a wind chime with them

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
