  18. Welcome Clarosa, sslip's advice is dead on. Take what you need and leave the rest. Some of us may do tough love but it's only because we care about helping you beat this addiction
  19. You did good novo, even if it doesn't feel like it. Try again today for those wings and if you're so inclined tell them that youve just quit smoking. You'll be surprised at the amount of support most will give.
  20. Generally no you can't however sometimes you may get lucky, especially at night, to find a knight there. What's the big deal?
  21. Welcome miss Vee and congratulations on taking back your life Your quit began the moment you put out that last cigarette. Nrt's are a great way to help take the edge off and we've got many successful members here who also used them so don't feel like you're cheating or not really quit. Craves unfortunately are still normal in the first days, weeks even months of your quit regardless if you're using patches or not. The great thing though is that each time you get past one it gets weaker and you get stronger.
  22. SOS's work, I used it a couple times early in my quit and people came running to help. Let us do what we do best which is help each other beat this nasty addiction. I didn't even put SOS in my titles but worded it in such a way that others knew I was struggling. The important thing is to post and let us help
  23. Yay you rusty! Each time you get past these hard days you get stronger and they get weaker! Well done
  24. Congrats on two months gordo, that's awesome!

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
