  1. Is a flip phone capable of that?
  2. If your having sex with your phone I'm guessing yes?
  3. Don't you feel weird having sex with your phone?
  4. But can you change time?
  5. Great update Shane, I'm so glad things are getting easier now. It sure seems like they never will at first, especially for us older folks. I still remember the first morning after I quit where I woke up in the best mood I'd been in in a few years. I'm glad your breathing better too, heck you might get frisky and shoot for three laps in that pool, hee, hee Your reward to a children's charity is exactly what I would expect from you. You're such a caring person who always puts others before yourself. What a great way to celebrate
  6. Yay Rose, your first month done is HUGE!!! You'll be happy to see that each month thereafter will get easier and easier for you. Celebrate by doing something special for yourself, you deserve it!

  9. Obviously you were only laughing on one side of your face which looked weird to your mom as is shown in figure 1 below Figure 1 Why would cutting off my nose spite my face?
  10. Congratulations Shane on four months quit! I echo jo in what a supportive and caring person you are to all of us. You bring so much to so many and I'm just happy to call you my friend I hope you have a great monthaversary
  11. Love your attitude lml, keep reminding yourself of that in the coming days/weeks to come. The brain fog is different for everyone, mine lasted a few weeks so yours may last longer than five days. Be kind to yourself and let your body dictate what it needs. That means if it's hungry, eat. Craving sweets, eat a candy. Tired, rest etc. Our bodies are remarkable at being able to try to right the wrongs we did by smoking
  12. And out came twelve months I put in the bird that keeps eating the rabbit's food

  14. Congratulations sparkzzz!
  15. Wow, that's awesome that she does all that already @notsmokinjo. You gotta good kid! And if she's uncoordinated it makes sense that you wouldn't want her to iron. So maybe you can make her a deal to cook 2 nights a week in exchange for you ironing her uniforms lol.
  16. Welcome aboard Jan, my apologies for not welcoming you publicly sooner
  17. @notsmokinjo that's the way we earned extra money to buy things we wanted. We got our allowance each week if we did our chores but if we wanted something that wasn't a necessity we did extra stuff. I still think at 12 kids should be doing their own laundry and ironing their own clothes though. But that's just the way I was raised. I have no children to back up my beliefs. Just spoiled rotten pets lol
  18. @notsmokinjo at 12 years old I was ironing my dad's clothes for extra money. I got 10¢ for hankies, 15¢ for ties and pants and the big payday of 25¢ for shirts. So I agree that maybe you shouldn't be ironing the kids uniforms
  19. Thinking about you today rozuki, I hope you're getting stronger and feeling better everyday :)

Thank you! I have been home from hospital for 3 weeks now...and it seems my life does not allow for relaxing and recuperating!! It has been crazy at my house!!!! Haven't really had the chance to get on here much but I think about this forum and you all every day....and I thank my lucky stars I quit smoking 15 months ago and stayed quit thanks to having a place to vent, play games, etc.....

  20. Glad you're having a good day today lml and sunny. The good days, in time, will outweigh the bad days and then soon enough the bad days will just be a memory. That's why it was important to me to read all my posts each month just so I wouldn't forget where I came from.
  21. Congratulations on half a year quit weegie woman. I'm so glad to be on your journey with you
  22. Wow, I did not know that. I definitely won't be calling anyone from another country puddin. Who would have thought since pudding is so yummy?

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
