    Confessions

There was a time when I had no problem killing a spider but then years ago I was at a boyfriend's house and saw a spider on his bedroom ceiling so I told him to kill it and I swear this is what he said to me "why, what'd he do to you?". Ugh, that's all it took for my brain to start spinning with thoughts of you're right, he's just trying to live his life and he's not bothering you why would you kill him and even he only has a lifespan of about three years so who am I to play God. So yea, welcome to the mind of Jill!
  3. Congratulations fizzy on four years quit

@Whispers and @Wee fluffy me I won't even kill a spider unless it's a black widow or another poisonous one and then I apologize to it and cross myself after I've killed it. Yep, I'm a weirdo!
  5. @MarylandQuitter is there any plans to fix chat so that we can see if anyone is in there? The only reason I'm asking again is that it would have come in handy last night when a member needed some help. Thank you
  6. This was the last stick of the day @Wee fluffy me, that's why I chose the nutty half dozen

    Confessions

Confession: I can watch people get killed on tv but have to change the channel if there is anything about animals getting killed either by other animals or any way else. I change the channel when the animal rescue commercials come on too. Just too sad to imagine that people can be so cruel to animals ?
  8. Because he would look stupid with only 7 Could I use a hammerhead shark to put a nail in my wall?

    Failed

Ask yourself why do you want to keep doing the first miserable week/month.over and over again? Also don't worry about what your boyfriend is doing. He may not quit on the same day or week/month/year and that's ok because you have to want to quit for you. If you truly want to quit you'll do everything you can to protect that precious quit. I stayed glued to the forum all day everyday for the first year. I also stayed close to home and didn't go places that I knew people would be smoking for the first month or two. I also had a non smoker go with me shopping etc. Anything to stay quit. Are you ready to do what it takes?
  16. Glad you're feeling a little better Christine, keep writing and getting your feelings out. I read my posts every month so I wouldn't forget where I came from. Your postings will do you well when you can look back at them and be thankful you got past it.
  17. Boo is spot on. I thought of smoking non-stop too. That was one of the worst symptoms for me but then one morning I woke up in the best mood I had been in in years and smoking wasn't the first or last thing on my mind. You'll get there too. It was promised to me and now im promising you. Hang in there, it gets so much better
  18. Another thing I did @christine 12 was when I was really having bad craves I would just go to bed hoping tomorrow was just a little better and it usually was. Did you try the air cigarette too?
  19. Ok Shane have pleasant dreams
  20. Is this your pre response to an SOS @christine 12? If so just keep reading it every hour. And before you know it you'll have another day quit
  21. Shall I have a Q&A then?
  22. Yes won't you tell us your shocker jo?
  23. So is it a draw then? I still think mine was better what do you think jo?
  24. That's not shocking at all Shane, it's kinda funny. What would have been shocking would have been saying you pulled up your briefs because always figured you as a boxer man You know what's shocking?

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
