Pssst! I'll let you in on a little secret-Repost by Kathleen0515

@kathleen0515, I hope you don't bow out. You have so much to offer and it would be a shame to let something that happened so long ago be your reason why. Quittrain has been so nice to all of us that came over from qsmb. They have welcomed us with open arms and with no animosity over anything that happened in the past. -

I'm sorry Kathleen for changing the name, I had no way to contact you to ask your permission. This post meant a lot to me in my first year and so I wanted to share it here for members on their first year. And since qsmb is no more i felt it was appropriate to change the name. Again my apologies and I have edited it back to your original words. P.s. Welcome to quittrain -
Excellent series whispers, thanks for the clue

Hi Phoebe, nice to see you

Watched Spacex launch tonight. I love night launches, we were able to see the flames and the separation so much better than a day launch. So cool
-
Oh yea, that's perfect

Sci-fy channel is showing both episodes of Manifest tonight back to back so I'll be able to catch up with it

You're welcome Lily, sorry for the misinformation to go to account settings. Glad you have your pm's back
-
You can switch to desktop site from your phone Lily. Just go to the address bar and on the right there will be dots, click on that and then click desktop site.
-
I can't send you a pm since you haven't re enabled your messenger. Once you get to Notification settings, scroll down and you'll see messenger. Try this, do you see the little envelope next to notifications? Click on where it says go to inbox and scroll down and on the left side it will say enable my messenger. That should do the trick

Confession: Years ago this super hot guy with the nicest tan told me he used soda like Coke or Dr. Pepper instead of tanning lotion to get such an even tan. So a friend and I went to the lake to lay out and I proceeded to rub Dr. Pepper all over to get an even and deep tan. It took about 5 minutes for all the bees to find me lol!

Yay Sparkzzz, welcome to the Old Phartes club! It's been a pleasure watching your journey to that first year quit

Go to account settings, it's that little arrow next to your name. Then you'll see notification settings on the right side of the account settings page. Click on that and you'll find it

Glad you have decided to quit again before your birthday Lily, what a nice gift to give yourself One thing that really helped me prepare was to quit smoking where I normally would. This helped me disassociate those places with smoking and I didn't crave when I walked into that particular area

@notsmokinjo, the white meat is usually drier than the dark meat and like Shane said is the chicken/turkey breasts. The dark meat is wings, legs, thighs. The dark meat is much more tender and flavorful imo than the white but it's all personal preference. My advice to you is don't say anything to the family or else they are going to work hard on figuring out what they like best, white or dark and the next thing you know it's anarchy!

Sorry to hear you relapsed Lily. And I'm sure Sazerac will appreciate you reaching out to her to publicly apologize. Over reacting goes with the territory in the early days of quitting so I'm sure she understood and didn't get upset by it. Heck I've said way worse lol And like Jane said, don't wait until you get a quit intact. Come here from the start like I wish I had. We don't want you going through those early struggles alone. I hope to see you back and quit sooner than later!

Hopefully he just doesn't have internet again and is still doing good. @MwBenson, we're thinking about you

Sorry about your rough patch Linda and I hope venting about it helps. It sure helped me. I'm sending you a ton of positive vibes and congrats on getting your brother to manage your dad if only to get him to the restaurant. At least it gave you a tiny break
