  1. Sarge is only one voice here Ankush. I know from experience that the SOS works. I used it a couple times myself in the early days of my quit and I'm so glad I did. Yes, if you've set your mind to smoke you're going to smoke regardless but when you're to the point of looking for cigarettes then you owe it to yourself to post and let us try to help you through it.
  2. @Ankush, well done on getting past that bad crave. Just remember to SOS BEFORE you cave to a crave so that we can try to help you past it. You don't want to give up those awesome days quit you have now and start over again!

  10. I'm really sorry that happened to you stzr, it must have been awful and I totally understand how you would have major craves after something like that. Thank goodness you have two solid years quit under your belt. And that you knew to come post an SOS. You protected your quit, got it out and I hope you're feeling just a little better now...

  14. Our 2016 quitters are the butt kickers. 2017 we have the Smoke Busters, 2015 are known as the Badashes and 2014, The Avengers. I don't know what happened to the 2018 members not having a name but it's never too late. So 2019 quitters, are you guys going to unite with a team name?

  16. Welcome aboard steveo, there's lots of members, me included, who were long term smokers so if we can do it so can you Use us however you need to to support you along the way. Post an SOS if you feel yourself caving to a crave and let us help you through it. Solo, what you are experiencing is totally normal but I promise you it does get so much better. Just hang in there, at 2 1/2 months quit you're almost past the hardest months of quitting. I'm going to bump a couple of my favorite posts, one called No Man's Land and one called Mental Balloons. Hopefully it'll help you feel better

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
