  12. Hi Tina, sorry about your mom's stroke. I hope she's getting better. Quitting smoking is the best thing she can do so congratulate her on 10 days quit. That's awesome! As far as the rash goes, I would worry it's more medication related and call her dr. Especially if they are new meds. Quitting smoking causes a bunch of weird recovery symptoms but because of your mom's stroke I wouldn't chance it.
  13. I agree, great post irene. One you can read and update often as you progress through the hard first year of quitting. It's something I did and recommend to every newbie. Not only will it show you just how far you've come but it will enable you to also not forget where you've come from. And it will help everyone coming behind you

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
