  1. Couldn't have offered me part? Offer
  2. We also have our SOS Forum here https://www.quittrain.com/forum/5-the-sos-board/ . This is where you would post if you feel that you're going to cave to a crave. Post there and all of us who follow that thread will be notified that someone needs extra support. I used it a few times in my early quit so I know it works if you truly want to save your precious quit
  3. Hi Tina, here is the Daily NOPE link https://www.quittrain.com/forum/4-the-daily-nope-pledge/
  4. Welcome guttie and congratulations on deciding to quit this deadly addiction. I have a ton of respect for those who can quit with a smoker in the house. But our members who have successful quits under those conditions have shown us all that when you're ready to quit nothing will stop you. Even that I found that being part of a community with others who knew what I was going through at any given time was instrumental to my quit and I stayed glued to the board as much as possible reading, posting, celebrating milestones and socializing. It bonded me with other members and made me not want to let them down. I also learned a ton about this addiction and found reassurance during craves that I could get through it. So stick close, we'll give you all the support and camaraderie you want/need
  5. Welcome aboard Mac and congratulations on your 4 days quit. How scary that must have been to have covid, I hope you're feeling much better now. 13. It's for everyone's safety but mostly it's that the Dr is working overtime at the hospital so is only seeing his most severe patients at his office. And since I haven't even had a chance to go to my first follow up appointment after the hospital I'm not on that list. She did say that if something opened up she would let me know.
  14. Wondering why I'm just now realizing that an exclamation point is just an upside down lowercase I? Or have I always known this and just forgot?

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
