  1. Welcome pixiedust, congratulations on taking control of your life by quitting. We have a lot of people here who have anxiety and have successfully quit so you'll have lots of support getting past that part of the quit. You may find at first that your anxiety gets a little worse before getting so much better so please talk to your doctor and let him know you are quitting. Sometimes you may need a medication adjustment. Stick close, check out all our various forums. Lots to do here to keep your mind busy and off smoking

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
