  2. Can we make it a contest?
  3. So you're saying that the people who don't vote on a poll to see if you're nuts are nuts?

  9. Michelle, you still are going to have cravings no matter what NRT you use. Especially the first three days after giving up smoking or vaping. Think of your mind as that two year old who isn't getting her way. She's throwing a tantrum and wants her toy. You as the adult aren't going to give in to this toddler wanting her way or else she's just going to keep throwing tantrums because she knows it works right?! Keep fighting them off because each time you do they get weaker and you get stronger

  12. Watching Beachfront Bargain Hunt and every single house the couple goes into the wife wants to move the couch!
  13. Did you take the chantix as recommended @idontsmoke? I believe it's three month. It worked really good for me and I quit for three weeks on it and thought I could stop taking it. Wrong! I pretty instantly went back to smoking.
  14. What makes you think we don't already think your nuts?

  20. Good decision to ditch the vape @idontsmoke. I put your ticker in your signature. You almost had it, you just needed to scroll down lower and you would have seen the signature box. You had put it in your about me. Anyway now ya know
  21. A belated congratulations @G67 on your fourth year smoke free! I hope you did or are planning something special to commemorate I
  22. I agree with Doreen Michelle, there's nothing to be embarrassed about. You did the right thing by posting your SOS. Just do that EVERY time you feel yourself caving because as you can see, it works
  23. Wow nana you REALLY do have a lot on your plate right now! You should be even more proud of yourself for standing your ground on keeping the awesome quit you have going. I do take issue with your Dr asking if you're sure you want to quit right now. Covid is brutal on smokers lungs! And as far as your sons fiance sleeping all day so you have to take care of the kids, not cool! Time for you and your hubby to band together and make some ground rules if they want to stay. Could this be why they were kicked out of her mom's place? Can't say enough about quit buddies. They are the best! I had several and one of the coolest things about having one or several is that you don't want to let them down by failing. So even on my worst days, I had a bunch, I knew I could reply on my quit buddies and the rest of the board I belonged to at that time to help me through. You're doing great, you're all doing great so keep putting one foot in front of the other
  24. I started a similar thread Jo if you want to check it out https://www.quittrain.com/topic/13929-positives-from-the-pandemic/
  25. Welcome idontsmoke and congratulations on posting an SOS and getting past that craving Gum, mints, candy are all great ideas to keep your mouth busy. I was hooked on soft peppermint puffs for my entire first year of quitting lol. Throw the vape away too. You won't be needing that anymore! We're glad to have you join our merry train of quitters. You'll find members from all over the world and in all stages of quitting.

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
