  3. I knew what you meant, my kindle does that to me all the time too lol
  4. Its all a part of the process Linda, you won't always. I'm sure this pandemic doesn't help either so just be extra kind to yourself and know it will all be worth it in the end
  5. You're all set @Linda
  6. Well done Linda, I knew you could get past it
  7. I can add it for you @Linda or if you want to try it yourself just click on the calendar tab above and click "create event", then fill out the info.
  8. Just another one of those triggers that you'll have to go through to get past. You'll conquer this one too and then it'll be easier next time
  9. Congratulations mac on your double digit quit! I love how supportive and fun you've been since beginning your journey with us. Have a great day and spoil yourself a little
  10. Thinking positive thoughts that they got it all Chris @Cbdave, hey but fewer wrinkles isn't such a bad side effect
  11. Huge gain from divorce settlement Wrtwr
  12. Judi, you won't crave them in the sense that you are right now. When a smoking thought does pop in your head it will be easily swatted away as you get through this first year of triggers. I have an occasional thought of smoking pop into my head from time to time still but then its gone just as quickly. Kinda like when you walk into a room but forget what you went in there for. I'm sorry you're having a hard day today, just hold tight because the day is almost over and hopefully your tomorrow will be better

I hope I have my vaccine before spring break!
  14. Heard Elvis died?
  15. Welcome aboard @Lin and congratulations on choosing to take back your freedom. You'll find all the support you could need or want here as well as a huge library of posts and videos about our addiction. If you get a chance maybe you could introduce yourself to everyone in our introduction forum. We're glad you're here
  16. That's my outings too @Linda. Doctors and blood tests what fun lol. So least we're all in this together and God willing we'll all come out of it together
  17. Dogbelly, like Jeff @JH63, I also quit with Chantix years ago and made the mistake of only using the first month of it thinking three weeks quit was enough and I didn't need it any longer. WRONG, I pretty much instantly relapsed once the drug was out of my system. So please stay on it for at least the minimum recommended time of three months. Some have even stayed on it as long as six months but three is what works for most
  18. I promise you Linda that as time goes by it will get so much better. Once you hit that one year milestone you'll be thinking "that wasn't so bad". You got this girl!
  19. Bump for @Linda and anyone else who may benefit from it. Although all of our quits are different they are all the same in that we quit a nasty, life threatening addiction..
  20. Good luck Chris @Cbdave, hopefully the third times a charm
  21. Watching Prodigal Son, if you haven't seen it you're missing out!
  22. Hey @Linda want to NOPE just for Wednesday with me?
  23. Awesome @Steven Drojensky, congrats

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
