  2. Congratulations Linda on getting past the hardest month of them all You're doing great, even if you don't think so at times
  3. Its not realistically possible to corner the market is it?
  4. Linda you DO NOT want to go through this first horrible month again right?! That should be incentive enough. Go online and pick yourself out something special for your one monthaversary. We had one member who bought a charm each month for her bracelet. That'll keep your mind busy
  5. Doesn't just the IRS do that?
  6. Keep your mind busy other ways like playing games or watching funny videos to get your mind off smoking. We have a ton of fun social threads
  7. Yes, water, candy and deep breathing. Enjoy how much deeper and clear your breaths are. You got this!
  8. I enjoyed the Spiderman movies so much that I I decided to check out Aquaman hopefully its as good
  9. Oh Linda, I'm so glad that you're posting your journey. Every month I would look at all my past threads I created to not just see how far I'd come but to also remember where I came from! Big day tomorrow!!!

    Take Two

If I drank that whole case I'd have to postpone my plans because of a hangover
  13. Welcome aboard wendy and congratulations on deciding to quit! You'll find all the support you could want or need here along with a ton of information about our addiction so be sure to check out all our various forums.
  14. To confuse you Can you use a booger as glue?
  15. Linda, you have to believe us when we promise it won't always be a struggle. It does get so much better. Surely by now you've noticed your sense of taste and smell coming back? How about your hands and feet, are they nice and warm now from the improvement in circulation? Those are the things you focus on, not the negatives. I know its easier said then done but I had a hard quit too so I know I was my own worst enemy! Don't be me.

  17. It's so awesome seeing you guys support each other in your first year quit. Having my fellow 2016 Butt Kickers quitting alongside me really helped me in my quit know that I wasn't alone in my struggles. Some of us had an easier time than others but we were all in it together. Add to that the wise words of the Olde Phartes who had already traveled that path and its a recipe for success.

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
