  3. Ok all you awesome 2021 quitters, how about choosing a quit name? We have yearly quit names going back to 2014 with the Avengers. My 2016 is The Butt kickers. The 2020 quitters I believe are the Freedom Force. Here's a link to all the yearly quit names and logos: https://www.quittrain.com/topic/14156-yearly-quit-names-and-logos/ So maybe you guys want to pick one too?
  4. How awesome for you and your friend @Linda.
  5. Great post @Gus, it was like I was there with you, just two ex smokers wanting our Sonic blast!
  6. What a great day, I had friends over for the first time in over a year. And I hugged my California mom and dad! Gosh I missed that....
  7. @Dianne, I'm so glad to see that even though you want one you're not going to. That's how successful quits are made. We can acknowledge that we want one but nothing will stop us from keeping our quits. Be proud of yourself and I hope your tomorrow is better for you
  8. What a great idea @Katgirl for changing up your morning routine

  19. Welcome B-Raven and congratulations on over four .months quit already, that's fantastic! My breathing got worse for a while before it started to get better. Our lungs need about a month to rejuvenate the cilia in them after quitting so now they're busy cleaning up all that gunk. Drink lots of water or juice to help flush your body out and keep being active and if it still doesn't get better or gets worse than you may want to go see your Dr. The same goes with your anxiety. It'll get worse for a bit and as you get further in your quit it should get better but if it doesn't your Dr can maybe prescribe something to help. Quitting is the best gift you can give yourself and your family. Stay close and reach out whenever you need us. And thank you for your service
  20. I wouldn't worry about that @Katgirl, they'll be others coming behind you soon and you won't be the newest newbie anymore And don't dwell on the quit you gave up, just be glad that you got smart and quit for once and for all. I'm glad all your kids are vaccinated, its a huge relief to not have to worry so much.

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
