I don't think you need to worry about that. If someone is waiting for an answer they'll usually tag you so you know. This is a tag, also known as a mention, btw: @Kris. And you're not a dummy, you're a beginner. We all were at one time -

@Kris, when you reply and then hit submit reply stay on the thread until you see your comment post. If you leave right after and the reply didn't post then when you come back to reply you will see your earlier post in the reply box. To clear what you previously wrote click on clear editor. I hope this helps

Boo @Kris, I've been lucky that I've never had one. I heard keeping the room as dark as possible helps as well as applying pressure with your thumbs to the area(s) that hurt. I know when I get a bad headache doing just that works really good for me. I hope you feel better as the day goes by......... -

@Kris, the badges and ranks are not forum specific. They are an update to the software that powers our site. Every forum powered by invision now has them. I know from experience that the more you participate the better your chance of success. So if the badges help get people to post or even sign up, that's that many more we can help quit right?
