  1. Do you like full moons?
  2. Are you not one of the crazies?
  3. Won't you miss not seeing me?
  4. And why did I want to know?
  5. @Kris, its not quitting related. But being on a salt crave and drinking a lot probably doesn't help. You should definitely call your GP tomorrow. Shame on your kids for putting your health at risk so you could babysit Try propping your feet up on pillows, higher then your body to hopefully help with the swelling until you can go get checked.
  6. I don't think I do, is there a number I should call to see?
  7. Wise decision @Steven Drojensky, we're glad you did!
  8. Yea @Kris, the first weeks the hardest so well done!!!
  9. If that's true why do I run into them daily?
  10. How lucky is that?
  11. Can't people be pretty mean that call in like its your fault their stuff isn't working?

  14. What an awesome update @Robbie I used to read all my first posts every monthaversary just so I wouldn't forget where I came from! I agree, it was great motivation to keep my quit
  15. @Kris, no that isn't normal to quitting. So its probably best to go to urgent care to get it checked out. Especially if they're as swollen as you said Keep us posted ok?
  16. @Opah, create a ticker above and show her all the money you've saved already!
  17. I craved soft peppermint puffs my first year of quitting lol. I'm a big believer in listening to your body and giving it what it wants and man my body couldn't get enough of them
  18. Is it better at your new job?
  19. @Kris, we all have regrets like that. My father and his younger brother died of Esophageal cancer and Throat cancer respectively within two years of each other and I continued to smoke. My uncle had been quit for a couple years when he was diagnose Try not to be hard on yourself, we can't undo the past but we can try to make our future better. And you're doing just that by quitting
  20. @Kris, yep pretty normal. I had it too. I've also had problems with it at other times when I have too much on my mind. What works for me is taking an OTC sleep aid. I found that just one pill a couple nights in a row was enough to take the edge off and get me back to a more normal sleep pattern. Maybe try that?
  21. I think if I knew I wouldn't be asking?
  22. Are you laughing with them or at them?

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
