Woohoo,Congratulations @Lust4Life on five years quit now! Its amazing how fast the time flies when we were those newbies counting on each other to make it to our first year quit. So I hope my fellow Butt Kicker that you celebrate you today!

Unfortunately its bound to happen this whole first year quit and truth be told from time to time after the first year. We need to remind ourselves that there's just no way you're going to go through every single situation over your smoking career that made you grab a smoke in just one years time. The difference with time under your belt is that they're much more easy to get past then when you were newly quit. And you know this too shall pass and you'll keep that awesome quit you have

@Cbdave, painting rocks and hiding them for others to find is all the rage here right now. They even have Facebook pages so you can post a pic of the ones you paint and find. The kids have so much fun looking for them. I even bought rock painting kits for the neighbor kids for Christmas last year lol

Great post @JustinHoot99, the time starts as soon as you put out that last cigarette. I quit at 10:15 pm. Right before bedtime and truth be told, I actually quit around 5:00pm but proceeded to smoke all the butts in the ashtrays before cleaning them once and for all! So I agree the time you pick is a good idea. I wanted to let you know also about our tickers that you can add to your signature. Its a great way to watch all the time, money and cigarettes NOT smoked add up There's a tab at the top of the page if you'd like to make one for your signature

@Boo because the cat is declawed it now has no way to defend itself. It can't even climb to safety anymore so the best thing you can do for him is catch him and bring him to the animal shelter. Ours are no kill here and hopefully yours are too. You could also put him on your local pawboost website in case he's lost. https://www.pawboost.com/ Thanks for helping him
