  14. Congratlations on nine months @Linda and thank you for the support and friendship you bring to all us aboard the train
  15. @Linda, it takes a good year to get past all the triggers you may face throughout any given year. Then there are the events that don't happen regularly that also can cause craves. You have to remember that you smoked for years and its just not realistic to think that in only 9 months time you would be over any craves so give yourself a break. You did it now the next wedding will be that much easier
  16. Well done getting past that Linda, you should be very proud of yourself

    Take Two

Drunk doesn't always make a person happy though, I've seen some plenty mean drunks!
  18. Right?! Its drab!
  19. Eating rotten squash
  20. She's home! Unfortunately, she's not doing as good as I would have hoped. The vet basically said they did all they could for her and to just love her with the time we have left. What a kick to the gut yoyo ride. But she's had 15 years, 13 with me and I'm just happy she's home. I tell you if I knew it was only going to buy for a little more time I would have never put her through all that but I owed it to her to try......
  21. Maybe we're a little jealous?
  22. Btw boo, how's the kitty liking his new home
  23. @JustinHoot99, when I had days like that I used my JAC (jillars air cigarette). It worked great at tricking my mind into thinking it was getting the real thing. I just pretending I was holding a cigarette and went through the motions of "smoking" it. I couldn't believe how well it worked. Some people have used pens, cut straws, even licorice for theirs but I liked looking stupid lol Just another tool to add to your arsenal

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
