  1. Did you delete your browser cookies? Just deleting the qt link isn't the same as deleting all your browser cookies. That's what I'm thinking is slowing you down and not allowing you to post links.
  2. @Cbdave, try deleting your browser data not your attachments here. The browser you use to get to qt.
  3. @Cbdave, you might also try deleting your browser data. I know when my kindle slows down its time to delete mine. Then I close it and reopen and my browser works much better

@Kris, I agree with @Gus in that volunteering at A senior center would really help you feel needed and give you the purpose you're looking for. Here in California we have a program called CASA where you can volunteer to be an advocate for children. Another service you may find rewarding if there's something like that in Texas. I hope your Dr can help you get the meds or therapy needed to feel better

  9. Hey @Cbdave, I don't have an iPhone but @Katgirl does. Maybe we can see if she's having the same problem. What exactly happens when you try to post one? I just posted a gif with my Samsung Galaxy to the Nope page no problem so it may be an iPhone issue. Have you tried restarting your phone? Sometimes something that simple works. You can also try posting your link where it says Other Media, click on the arrow and select "insert image from URL"

  18. Hi @TONY, glad you're settling in. I'm going to move this thread to our Social forum. Sorry about the loss of your wife. I don't put any decorations out anymore but I do still buy gifts for a couple friends and family.

  20. Welcome aboard @TONY, or is it Pat? Congratulations on two weeks quit already, that's awesome! These first few weeks/months can be pretty tough, but they are totally doable as we can all attst too and once you get past them you'll never have to do them again I also suggest checking out our pinned threads on the main board. Lots of good tips and clues to help you. We also have some pretty enjoyable social boards for when you want to get your mind off smoking but still stick close to your support. Reach out to us whenever you need to and definitely if you feel yourself caving to a crave so that we can talk you past it ok?

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
