  3. @Kris and @Linda, my Dillar the one Tiki looks like swallowed a rubber band that I saw about a quarter inch of poking out. Imagine how fun that was to pull out

  6. Well that was gross, saw something dangling off Tiki's tail and of course I couldn't just leave it there so I pulled it off bare handed and it turned out to be a dingle ball wrapped around her hair on her tail! Lordy, I have NEVER had a cat that was such a mess with those dang dingle balls. AND she's the second cat of that breed I've had and my Dillar was never so messy
  7. Oh @Linda, that is just what you needed! I'm really happy for you and your friends
  8. I'm in California too @Kris and I hate the cold so you guys have fun, I'll attend the party virtually over zoom lol

  10. Woohoo number nine @Gus, how awesome is that?! Merry Christmas on this your first smoke free Christmas
  11. Boo @notsmokinjo, definitely something going around here too. On December 4th I had a stomach bug and threw up probably 25-30 times between Saturday afternoon and Sunday afternoon. And the first time it came out of nowhere resulting in me, my sheets, quilt and even the cat getting some. It was horrible! Hope Birdie feels better soon

@Kris and @Doreensfree, I hope your family members get well soon...That new Omnicon is supposedly like 70 times easier to catch then the other variants
  15. I'm not in a wheelchair @Kris, my worry is just having enough portable oxygen to get to and from the Dr visit. And thankfully come the end of March I won't have to worry anymore
  16. 8. Paint the fence In their curio cabinet
  17. Success! Just received this email from our Mayor: After contacting Sue Anderson, President of Marian Hospital, she directed me to Dr. Robertson regarding this issue. They are trying to recruit. It seems that this is a problem throughout the country. Access to Pulmonology is very critical and the covid has exacerbated the problem. A Pulmonologist is expected to start seeing patients by late March 2022. I know this doesn’t help you right now but help is coming soon. Alice Patino
  18. 4. Clean oven
  19. 2. Organize the closets
  20. @Linda, I have options if I want to travel 45 minutes to another county or an hour to one in my own county but being on portable oxygen its just too far without having to bring multiple tanks. And that would be too hard for me to do on my own. We really just need at least one in our immediate area
  21. Feeling positive that after emailing my county supervisor and mayor Pro Tem to no avail about the lack of even one pulmonologist in my city of over 100,000 people I was able to get a response from our actual mayor who said she would look into it for me. Fingers crossed and I know it will take time but I suggested they offer incentives like they do with businesses they are trying to attract to our area. My next move will be notifying the news stations so I'm really hoping something comes out of the mayor doing something about it.
  22. @intoxicated yoda, mine are 10mg THC and 5mg CBN. 30mg sounds like a lot, the most I ever do is 10mg at A time. Its just enough to take the edge off to sleep soundly
  23. @intoxicated yoda, I don't know if CBN is legal in your state but if it is, even if you have to get it prescribed, I would try it. I tried it by accident when I bought the wrong gummys and man am I glad I did because when I recently had a bought of insomnia I took one and slept so good. I highly (pun intended) recommend them
  24. Welcome @Tokiea, quitting can be hard but it's doable, we're all proof of that. It's the addiction making you want to smoke. Just keep saying NOPE and it will get easier, I promise!
  25. Welcome back kenzie, sorry you gave up that awesome quit but happy to see you back and already on day 3. Stick close and revisit all the pinned posts and be sure to post an SOS if you feel yourself caving to a crave...

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
