  1. Really awkward years
  2. I drank two cups of coffee for as long as I could remember and after I quit smoking I went down to just one a day, not even trying. These days I'm lucky to drink one full cup. I also use to drink dr. Pepper everyday and after quitting and getting my taste buds back found it wasn't as good as I thought it was lol. I can't even remember the last time I had one!
  3. Need some sex
  4. Happy New Year! You might want to check with your Dr about using both the patch and spray at the same time. You can actually get too much nicotine.
  5. What exactly are you worried about? You've got NRT'S if you need them, I'd also stock up on some candies you can suck on because our bodies often crave sweets when we quit. You'll also want to stay well hydrated with water, juices or sport drinks to help clean out the gunk quicker. Be sure to listen to your body, especially in the early days. If its hungry, eat. Tired, rest. Thirsty, drink, etc.
  6. I got bagel dogs and sour cream and onion potato chips
  7. Welcome aboard @Davevat1, forced or not its a great decision to quit this nasty habit! I know what you mean about following the butt ends, I did that too and still got my forever quit, just a few hours later than I started lol. We have a great group of quitters from all over the world and quit a few from across the pond so you're in good company here Be sure to check out all our different forums. Lots of great info about our addiction as well as tips and clues to help with the craves. We even have a whole video forum if that's more your thing
  8. The support you get from people all over the world who have either been there before you or are walking beside you may be just what you needed to get your forever quit so what do you have to lose? Actually you have a lot to lose if you continue to smoke!! So we hope you decide to join us
  9. For one, if they were time travelers they would be able to give us the winning lottery numbers and since they can't then it must be the time zones
  10. This is a gallon jug: 6. Cut in half and use bottom half for a planter (If anyone could figure out bow to play music on it it would be you Jo

  15. @Mee, I'm really sorry to read your mom died so soon after you losing your dad And that's horrible what your brothers are doing! Hopefully your parents had a will and they'll have to give you your share. Or you could threaten to take them to court and since it would be where you are they would have to travel to court each time at their own expense lol. Anyway my friend just know I'm thinking positive thoughts that your New Year will be better...
  16. I'm really happy that you had no desire to join your friend @KEL, that's when you know for sure that you have your forever quit

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
