    Urges

@johnny5 is right @Kdad worry just about today by Monday you will be that much stronger. The crave is temporary, you know as you know so distract yourself until it passes. Have you tried my JAC(jillars air cigarette)? It worked great at tricking my mind into thinking it was getting the real thing. Maybe it'll help you too...

  13. @Kdad you have to delete the old ticker FIRST, then make a new one and put it in your signature. And the quit date under your profile pic says 11-22-20. That's the first thing we look at when we're trying to offer our support...
  14. @Kdadcan you update your quit date and ticker so we know where you are in your quit? It helps us when you need support to know how far along you are

  20. Welcome @Oslo, you're a wise young man to realize you need to quit at your age. If I had of quit at 22 I probably wouldn't be hooked up to an oxygen leash all day long. Yes, that's the reality of continuing to smoke. You're already seeing your health decline. I did too. Don't be me. You CAN quit, we're all proof of that. And at your age you should be able to reverse most of the damage done, if not all of it. We have a ton of information on our addiction including a video section if that's more your thing. And an SOS board so if you feel your quit is in jeopardy you can post there and we'll try our best to get you through it
  21. Congratulations @Rozuki on five years of freedom! I'm so glad you're here riding the train with us and paying it forward. Don't forget to celebrate today
  22. 7. Put one on your wrist to snap yourself helps to refocus your thoughts

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
