  1. ^ me too. Yeah-nah I'm really baking some snickerdoodles before work ... Or as the kid n co call them...laughing d1ck bickies.
  2. Has anyone tried sacrificing a virgin yet?
  3. So I'm sure @johnny5 isn't the only one with ear wires inspired by the corona virus...with its social distancing, isolation and forced quarantine. So what makes you song list in these odd times..and why. A work colleague stuck in quarry cos he flew back in from the USA keeps singing Queen's "I want to break free" onto people's voicemails. I keeps singing Fever...an peeps are looking at me like I should be in iso. ... And not for the corona virus either.
  4. Where as at the other end of our Country I get 4 season, sometimes in the same day, who doesn't love some variety. Gotta say I miss winter school holidays spent in QLD. Hey everyone, did you know in his spare time @Cbdave gets to bend bananas.
  5. Not a bad voice to listen to for a 7 hour car trip, even if it was just this one song. RIP Kenny.
  6. Franga... A condom, derived from the term "french letter"....dunno why we call a condom a French letter but we shortened it to franga.
  7. Confession: I use this Chinese linimint for sore joints muscles. I dunno what it's called or what's in it BUT it burns for hours after I use it and then the next day there is no pain.
  8. Autumn down here, although it started on the 1st of March...but happy spring you mob... everything's still look pretty green.
  9. So this is a pre-emptive post.... tippin that the country that bought you the word "selfie" will be adding to global vocab soonah rahvar than laytar....
  10. I don't mind if peeps stalk, they get to see my lovely local river.
  11. Sitting on a train heading to work with my little bit of Liverpool. So they announced this morning that ANZAC Day dawn services (April 25th) are cancelled.. nhj..nhj at all...tipping ANZAC Day I'll still be at the shrine or the local cenotaph watching the sun rise.. just hope I don't get arrested. So schools...in my state schools are staying open for now unless there is a confirmed case at the school and then the school is being closed. We have 2 schools that got closed yesterday in my immediate area...my daughter's school, they all had to take home l their books yesterday and when/if the school is closed they will be running correspondence/online classes. The focus will be on VCE kids (years 11 & 12). School board is putting a plan to the education department for an 11/12 in school quarantine when the senior academic kids move into the school with some volunteer staff and ride it out.

  13. Right... please isolate yourself missy... no more ICU visits for you. Saddly we don't use rolls at work, we use sheets.
  14. Most domestic sport comps have been cancelled for now. We have followed New Zealands lead and anyone arriving here has to self isolate for 14 days. For now only the rich kid school where Prices Charles and William went to for a year has closed... all other Victorian schools are still running. There are lots of rumours of a lock down... but at the moment I'm not putting too much chop in the rumour mill its changing by the hour. Victoria (my state) is suggesting extending the school holidays we have coming up for Easter (we have a 4 term school year)...but when you consider 2/3 nurses in Australia depend on school and childcare to be able to work the is an argument to leave them open. Panic buying continues.... was so nice to come to work today, do a poo and wipe my bum with something other than news paper.
  15. Oh the princess is far from a slave, she has a shoe collection to rival Imelda and is eyeing off her 3rd leather jacket.
  16. Wow....much less peeps on the train this morning....which explains why the fwy is a carpark.
  17. How's half a kg of each suit ya...you can keep the bum nuts, paper towel an liquid soap I'm sitting pretty for them .
  18. How about my first born, you can have her...she can do laundry, will cook dinner, makes a decent cuppa tea or coffee...with minimal griping BUT she may avoid school.
  19. So down under I need to question our intelligence... For no reason other than greed and fear our shelves are bare....whole Isles have nothing...I mean seriously no tomoato sauce (ketchup).... So... things aren't as bad as I thought in our place... but need me some bandaids (elastoplasts) cos I always have knife accidents when cooking and I need toilet paper...like NEED it cos yeah there is none. I can trade ya some flour (self raising, plain or wholemeal) or some spuds (pontiacs) some lovely home made jam, mince beef or lamb, lentils (yellow or read), barley, couscous, quinoa, black rice. Takers???
  20. More oddities from the Aussie supermarket checkouts... unsuccessful monthly shop because there is nothing...no potato's, no rice, no pasta, no flour, no sugar, no bread, no laundry detergent, no onions, no pumpkin, not much meat (butcher had meat), sanitary products, dunny paper....tinned stuff, noodles, frickin cereal....it's like the apocalypse is coming...anyway....I'm at the counter, buying what I can, an the 2 little girls behind me say to their dad... G1..Dad why is there no things in this shop? G2...Is it closing down? Dad...Yeah-nah people are just being stupid.
  21. I would love to hear Boo's theory on the Fed res... BUT some people don't see intellectual political discussions/debates as fun and can get their backs up....so saddly it looks like it's a nope...which kinda sucks. Feelin' a bit ripped off that they cancelled the frickin Grand prix.
  22. Wondering if @Boo has got any spare dunny rolls he could ship my way.

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
