  13. Whenever I'm away from the boards I'm paranoid peeps are gunna think I've relapsed...Its not like I don't have form (i threw away a 6+ year quit)....and when i first quit i always figured if i relapsed id just walk away and vanish, may have even said that once....but 2.5 years smoke free...if I suddenly have a total frickin brain fart and smoke, ill be back, cap in hand, baring my soul as i reboot and free myself again. I want to be smoke free. While I might not quite be at the lovin meself stage, I certainly respect myself enough and most of the time like meself enough to want this freedom for myself. I think that's a key difference, I want this for me...not because some other pets o n said I should but because I want it. Everyone wants to quit when they quit but you need to want it for yourself, not for your hubby or the kids or the parents or because the doctor said.

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
