  12. Wow Wee Me!!!! I am so happy to see you arrive at your one year milestone. Well done on such a great accomplishment. It has been great sharing this journey with you ever since your introductory post. That post resonated so well with me as have so many of your posts since then. I'm so glad that you have been here. I have saved you a lounger as you asked, and some friends that you should recognize from early in your quit are delivering some treats ( perhaps krispy kreme, but I cant tell because they are under the lids) Huge congratulations Wee me

  16. Hi Jo..... The Good: Countless common daily triggers have simply evaporated since I quit. The Bad: Plenty of powerful non daily triggers like your sewing machine existed for me at 8 months. The Ugly: Plenty of powerful non daily triggers like your sewing machine still exist for me at 15 months. In another recent post of yours, you expressed your frustration that you recently started to experience a lot of triggers that you thought should be gone by now. If you have an expectation that you should be past those odd ball type of triggers like your sewing machine by now, then you may want to consider changing that expectation. If you do expect and accept that those type of triggers may exist for quite some time, you may find it easier to deal with them. They will probably still suck, but you may be able to avoid another Russian roulette event like your walk to the 7-eleven.
  17. Good to hear from you again Claire. Nice update.

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
