  17. Weegie: I think of them simply as recorded shows that you can download from the internet to your electronic devices like phone, tablet, iPod, computer, etc. For example, I listen to News Hour from the BBC World Service, but I don't listen to it from the live broadcast. I download it to my phone and listen to it when I have the time. I can download the podcast of it on demand or I can subscribe to it and each episode will automatically download to my phone when it becomes available. Originally the term was a combination of the term broadcast and the term iPod.

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
