G’day They don’t call it the silly season for nothing! Everythings gotta be done by Christmas otherwise …… Christmas will fail? Humbug….. don’t think so…. But it seems the whole world does. Me. I’ll go along with it. A bloke can only do what he can. Secretly I’m waiting for that month after Christmas when everyone goes away and the roads are quiet. I’ll catch up with my work. Then I’ll take time off in February when the world goes back to work. Mental note… have to break to them that I’m retiring FULLY end of this next year.

G’day Kate I only know him as a scrub python. Against the road he stands out but in the dappled light in the rain Forrest you’ll not see him. This one was crossing the road near a mates place high in the mountains nth of Brisbane. He took his time and had 3 cars stopped waiting for him to cross. We were coming out of the colder months so he was using the warm road surface to warm up.

G’day When I gave the burners away I could walk into a store with a $20 note and buy a packet. Now I’m told you need a fifty dollar note to buy a packet. Thats mind blowing. Im not a rich man but comfortable…. How can the unemployed or poor afford to smoke?
