G’day The borders are coming down from this COVID mess we having been living in and we will have our youngest up from Melbourne. We haven’t seen him in 3 years so Christmas is very dear to us this year. Christmas is at my nephews in the shade of a marque. Heaps of tiger prawns and Morten bay bugs and cold slices of leg ham and heaps of salads. Couple of trays of mangos and cherrys of course. I’ve put a special order from my son for him to bring us some peach’s. they are so much better from Victoria. No overweight triffle this year. Me and my sweetheart are off the sugars and carbs and the weight is peeling off. A quick recipe for joe for guilt free chocolate moose and cream. Choc moose Couple of ripe avacardo into a blender Add sweetener of choice I use cal free stevia vanilla a good coco powder teaspoon chilled water blend till thick and Chocolaty Non dairy cream a can of coconut milk leave in the fridge for 6 hours. open and the can and spoon the cream that seperates from the water. In to the bender and whip till creamy. You can add suger and vanilla but I don’t bother. Alternate layers of choc moose and cream in a glass and refrigerate. Trust me don’t tell them what’s in it and they will not ask. Pic doesn’t show them in fancy glasses but they taste as good

G’day Yes you’ll think ….real smokers just like me. Ha I resemble that comment… Yep that me including those little lies I tell myself to protect my ego and continue to smoke. We’re not here to stoke our egos. We just tell it as it is. Me I don’t want to forget. Never forget ..so I never become that smoker again!

G’day Yep I remember that. And when the cig butt got stuck to your lip you continued to try and take the cig from your mouth and the glowing cherry burnt between your fingers. Ouch. Then it dropped on your lap. You jumped up And brushed it off real quick in a cloud of sparks. Then jumped around marking sure you weren’t setting something else alight. Crap! There’s a smouldering bit burning on your shorts. Spit on you finger and use that that to put it out. O well that’s my excitement for the day. Where was I … yes better light another smoke to make up for that 1/2 finished one and that will calm my nerves. Yep that addict, that was me

G’day Just a thought. Smoked outside it seams forever but I never had to go out in the cold and snow! Wow how cold could it be just to get that last lung buster in late at night. I would have been that smoker ha ha but not anymore. Freedom to stay inside in the warmth freedom from the cravings …. Doesn’t get any better does it

G’day It’s due to rain today here. Showers with a possible storm. 80C too. So if we get frozen rain it will be big lumpy bits… hail. Dont think we’ll have bushfires this year for sure. Wettest November for 50 years on the east coast of australia
