Plenty of water squash them up …. you can’t smoke nicotine soup. It’s humane to you and they are permanently disabled. Excited… you should be. Remember your in charge now. Your calling the shots

  14. G’day There’s got to be a point when you stop and don’t look back. Starving yourself of nicotine for a period then re enforcing the crave by giving in to it in the end is a special type of torture. My quit didn’t start with a last cig it started on the day I didn’t have a cig. At 8:30 that morning I hadn’t had a cig I took all the packets I had and drowned them. Same with the ashtrays wet them and dumped the lot in the bin. Then took my sweetheart to a movie and got on with the day. Yep I had craves but ignored them 5 mins later they left because I didn’t give them any power over me. Cause they came back but guess what they lose there strength. One of the first to disappear completely was that first smoke of the day one. Because they were ignored they lost there power I would not have believed that as a smoker but it’s true. PS yep my sweetheart took 4 days to figure out I’d stopped. Yep I was proud,
  15. G’day My youngest made it up from Melbourne, haven’t seen him in too long and his mum just can’t leave him for a min. I’m pushing to get some time with him. We were to be hosted at my nephews but my great nephews in hospital with pneumonia. Poor little tyke is only 18 months old and has been pretty sick but he will get out tonight. Last min I’m getting things together with my boys and we are getting everything we need for 6 people and heading of to nephews on Christmas morning. So this has turned out a Christmas to remember for many different reasons ……..
  16. G’day 4:30 here and hot. Can hear thunder and see some lightning off down south. Last of the storms from last night. See what tonight brings…. look out Santa.

  18. G’day Katgirl The I phone pic type has changed to a type that the site doesn’t recognise and the files are too big. The easy workaround is too take a screenshot of the pic. Hold your phone on the side and push the main button normally on the bottom and the on off button at the same time. You’ll hear a click and it’s done and the pic will go to you pictures. You tend to get a black border on each side Dont forget that the iPhone sees in landscape so hold you phone on the side you have to rotate and resize. hope this helps in some way Chris
  19. G’day Didn’t want to lose my cookies ( now that sounds weird ?) Just had to reenstate them after a phone upgrade! So I went on a friends laptop and logged in…. wow. People have tickers and everything All the things I lost in that last upgrade. Tried again. Same same can’t load pics. Slow to load ever window and got dropped with an error reading in the end. Tried a few other forum including one from stateside. No problems everything at normal speed and function. Just gunna have to ride it out like last time. Thanks for the help by the way
  20. G’day deleted the link to quit train. Typed in the address and logged back in same result. Can’t post pics Still slow as a wet week and kicks me out so I have to continuously get back in sigh
  21. G’day Got rid of 5 pics and tried again. No better. Double checked the pic size 3.2 MG and guess what it stops at 3.2 and doesn’t continue the process when posting. Got me? This stuff happened at the last upgrade and resulted in me being locked out for a while
  22. G’day recon my attachments section is overfull of pics. Can’t see any way of doing it apart from going back to the post themselves and deleting the pics day by day. Any ideas?
  23. G’day jillar tried a number of times to answer but the site is slow to to load and I’m’ getting “can not find” messages. Recon that a good bit to do with it! So no pic with the NOPE today. So if I’m not here over the coming days that’s the reason All the best for Christmas Chris
  24. G’day Just noticed over a little bit now I can’t post a link to anything on the forum. This means I can’t post links to songs and jokes. Only way to post up a pic is to screen shot it then post it up. Today even that doesn’t work. I don’t have a computer just an I phone which I can use on other forums quite well but not here? Any ideas? Thanks Chris

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
