Thanks for bumping this Honesty with myself and what I truly enjoyed and did not enjoy. Cold water. Cinnamon hard candy, really helped. Cold Water. Deep Breathing techniques. Cold Water. Support and more support. The Quit Train forum, so glad I found it. The daily NOPE pledge, kind of thought a little hokey at first but it really has worked for me.

Great job Jo, some hard work but well worth it I am sure.

Welcome aboard Lily, I recently quit also and I am finding things so much better now. As said take one hour, one day at a time. Come here often to research and reach out to others, knowledge and support are key and both are found here. It is somewhat difficult but now as hard as you may think, quitting is doable. Remember to pledge NOPE each day, heck hourly if needed. Do some deep breathing techniques and drink plenty of cold water and you will get there.

As I have said before that is the same where I live in the Northwest. With increases this year over $9.00 a pack. I cannot how much people will pay to do this to themselves (me included). My bank account is actually in the black at the end of each month now. Can't wait to see what that 1 year reward I am saving for will be.

You are doing good and the right things just keep going the way you are. I know what you are talking about with the feet, I was the same way though it took about a week for my feeling to totally come back. Truth be told I had not known how bad the foot feeling thing was until I quit. Keep on going you are doing GREAT!!!

Again welcome RoryPlog. Yes I have found this board to be very important in my quit. There is so much knowledge and material here to help with my quit. Also the people here are so helpful if not a little out there -- but hey it helps. Seriously the people have helped me greatly during my quit. Sorry about the other site but we are here ready and willing to share and help. And by the way from the quit date that you posted we quit on the same date -- great job on your quit so far.

Everyone is different to some extent. I would recommend that you check on some of the videos and written material on this sight about withdrawals. I too had anxiety and it is tough but it really does start to go away after just a few days. I was really fatigued and kind of run down with some of the brain fog. As reciprocity stated it get better and they do not last and once through it you will find again though that it is kind of tough it will be easier than you thought. I would take slow deep breaths and exhale slowly, as drinking cold water really helps. I also had straw around to chew on or suck through. And once I found this page I came here a lot and did research and read others stories and made my NOPE pledge. This site can really help. Again as said above the quit symptoms do not last forever, what you get in return will amaze you.
