Welcome aboard Max, glad to have you along on this journey. Lots of good people here and great knowledge. Awesome job on you quit to this point, 5 months is a strong foundation. Oh and Oktoberfest, what memories.

For a man who is not only passionate about helping others and to fully finance the forum my hat is also off to you. Talk about paying it forward!!!

Life can be funny in its different levels and we can only add to that with our own struggles that we choose. When we learn to survive the mistakes we learn, and then learn to pass that knowledge to others then we are not only helping others but helping ourselves on this journey. It is gift you have given to others through this process--way to keep strong.

NOPE -- not in anyway especially now that I have 8 weeks behind me and already a day or 2 into the 9th week. It has helped so far so not stopping the NOPE pledge now.

I have been sitting here reading this for several minutes, went over it about three times. It was not because I had a hard time understanding but actually the direct opposite. This post rings so true with what I am starting to go through at this time in my quit. I am now in my 9th week and complete 2 full months in a couple of days. I have to keep my quit, I have to make the choice and I have to celebrate every day that I choose not to smoke. The quit is no longer new but it is now a part of my life and I plan to keep this quit going. Thanks so much for posting this again.

Here -- Keeping the Quit and meeting some new and unique people, all on the same journey.

Very tough situation to be in. I worked many years ago with patients who had dementia and can so frustrating but you must show care in the most trying situations. Looks like you did good regarding your quit -- very strong commitment there. Glad you were able to come to the site and gather yourself. Congrats for the strong will to survive this journey.

Congrats Tyme -- great job -- you are doing this.
