  1. I am so lost and confused -- In the last 3 hours on this thread we have vaping, planting, kids getting lost, road trips, bad grocery shopping (accidental/intended not sure??), GPS, and voice bots. I can do only linear conversations -- this is just all over the place. So, what am I doing at the moment -- being lost in this conversation!!!!!
  2. Yes, great job on the 11 month mark. You sure are close to the Lido deck now and the lights from the deck should be very bright. Congrats on your quit to this point and you had better take time to celebrate today!!!!

  9. ^^^^^^Yes desperate1 it does get it bit easier and soon you will be taking that walk in the park -- though it takes a bit of time. I will let you know that cigarettes do cross my mind at this time in my quit -- but that is all they do, cross my mind. I have to watch myself but it is so much easier now and thoughts of smoking are so fleeting that I just shrug them off. Keep strong you are doing well!!!!

  15. Welcome aboard freeatlast, this is a journey that will change your life (and from what you say this is what you want). It can be tough but, as said above, there are ways to help you on this journey. Educate yourself, come here often to read and post, and try doing the daily NOPE pledge -- it may seem corny but it really helped me!!!!!
  16. NOPE!!!!!!!!!!!!

  21. Welcome back Juan, glad to see that you came back (also thank you for being honest -- that can be hard at times). Depression can be crippling but it sounds like you are aware and taking steps to overcome. Also too much time on your hands (song title there) can be a problem. When I quit I was a year into my retirement and was very concerned about all that time and how it would impact my quit, I used it to my advantage and spend a lot of time here on the forum (still do) and that helped pass the time and the craves, it also helps you set a goal. Either way you can do this so hopefully you will stick around and set that new quit date in the very near future!!!!
  22. NOPE!!!!!!!!!!!!
  23. Happy Mother's day to all the moms out there -- such a hard but rewarding task, I will always remember what my mother had done for me!!!!
  24. NOPE!!!!!!!!!!!!

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
