  6. Hell yeah! That sounds like my kind of fun. Dave Kindig is one of my favorites.
  7. Yeah I know, I’m a couple days late. But I didn’t wanna let it go and not congratulate you. A year is huge. I remember when I first quit you were right at your three-month mark worried because your cravings were worse then they were earlier in your quit. Now look at you, a year in and you’re still smoke-free. That’s fabulous, absolutely fabulous! Looking forward to another year of reading you’re posts. Congratulations JB !

  10. Thanks everyone. I never would have thought it. It’s funny, I still smell my hands in disbelief. They don’t smell of cigarettes. I was so brainwashed into thinking that I could never quit that I never even seriously tried. Hands-down quitting is the very best thing I have ever done for myself. I honestly don’t think I would have made it past the first few months without this forum. This place was really my only support. Thanks so much, quitrain! I’m saving my celebrations for the Lido deck. That 65 inch LCD is getting closer by the day.
  11. Absolutely wonderful. Don’t you find yourself kicking yourself in the butt because you didn’t quit sooner? I don’t know why they make such a big deal out of quitting. Congratulations!
  12. Nope Friday yet??
  13. One year ago today we lost one of rock ‘n’ roll best. RIP Tom Petty.

  17. I commit to a year because that’s when I get myself a new 4K big screen LCD television. I want at least a 55 Incher. Maybe even some new audio equipment too. I’ve had the same 36 inch plasma for more than 10 years. It’s time… and I deserve it!

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
