  3. Thanks to everyone........ I honestly couldnt do this alone. If i knew that the hundred other times I quit. It would have lasted for more than a day. I wish you guys could see my daughters face when they realize their mom is serious this time. Thank you Quit Train???? I think another 2 months more and I'm gonna have to join a group for quit snaking, because i am eating my butt off.??

  7. And you won't smell like that awful cigarette.
  8. It definitely helps reading and sharing our transitions as a non smoker. B you are doing a good job. Stay strong when you go back to your normal routine. I want to share, two weeks after my quit for about two days cravings came back but not strong. I didn't want to smoke but i missed smoking tremendously. I thought i was over the urges and got a little discouraged. Someone from here broke down the math on how long my mind and body would need,to be used to not smoking.( It's under missing them). So i have been taking it one day at a time, coming here daily and thanking God that i am finally smoke free! We are in this together
  9. Grab some snacks. They help
  10. Nope!!! No way
  11. Yes... I was right where you are a couple weeks ago. You are gonna be so proud that you went past the withdrawal and realize you can live without nicotine. I still can't believe i quit this easy.
  12. Well it's been 1 month since I quit. I have to say I feel a hell of alot better than I did from the beginning. I honestly didn't even think i would make it this far............. Most of my quits only last a few hours maybe a day. I still think about them but i will not pick that habit back up. Thanks Joel for the support videos they are saving lives!
  13. Yay!!! I'm new also and it does feel so much better without having to puff on those stanky things. I never want to smoke again either. We can do this?
  14. Yes i had it for the first 2 weeks of my quit. I couldn't think at times every thing was a blur. I am a month in and it is way better. Congrats on your quit

  21. Keep it up, I'm a newbie quitter too. I used patches the first week then went cold turkey. I know what you are going through. I didn't have a problem sleeping but i couldnt focus for a few days and it drove me crazy. Now i am a few weeks clean and it is much better. I dont have urges but i think about them alot. Stay on Quit Train. It helps ?

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
