I can only speak for myself... Vaping was not for me...it still hand to mouth puffing on something.. I needed to change my habit completely...I do believe i would have just gone back to smoking...if I vaped... I have no experience with weed....never used it...my ciggy habit was enough for me...I didn't need to look else where... Took my first puff at 11 yrs...by the time I was 12 ..I was a addict for sure...

Time for a another update... Been up all night again....Tony,s health took a nose dive...his blood is not holding a steady rate of oxygen ,if fell to 80 /%. This causes all kinds of problems.. Which can lead to cardiac....confusion... Tired....feeling all together unwell He also is on the verge of any bout of phuomonia... So needs a whack of antibiotics.... Every time he gets phuomonia ,it weakens his lungs further.... Emphysema is not good in extreme weathers....so this spell of extreme heat will not help.... So after doctors advice....he was taken to hospital by ambulance... Just when you think..yep.... Things are pretty crap just now...we have been thrown a huge spanner in the works... He has recently been diagnosed with Vascular Dementia.... And is undergoing test to see exactly which part of the brain has been effected... We already more or less know....it's the I don't care about anything part...which is found in the frontal area....but tests will proove this... Of course this will progress too.... If any one here is pondering whether they are doing the right thing...and miss a smoke....please read this thread from the beginning.. It's not just your life that gets ruined...your partner and your family suffer too.... Until next time. KTQ....

Wow DD...it just goes to show how insidious this horrible addiction is... Years after you quit ,that nico monster still comes knocking.. Giving yourself a refresh is hopefully the boost you need... PS....Really good to see you back...your knowledge will be a massive support to the newbies ....

I'm sorry I'm late... I'm will explain all later.... For now ,can I just add..smoking is never going to help...its a lie we told ourselves as addicts... Life throws us some crap curve balls ...and the first thing we think of is a smoke... Folks who have never lit up have crappy times too... Risking killing ourselves ,is not the answer ....facing the problem head on ..without the added worry of nicotine withdrawal is the answer.... It took this addict 52 years to finally get this.... Please keep your precious quit....this is the most wonderful thing for your health you can do for yourself... Hugs xxx
