  1. I didn't experience these smoking dreams....but have read alot of folks have them.... I can only imagine that Eureka moment ,when you click..it was all a dream ...and your quit is still.intact.... All is normal ...

  3. Sometimes I read a post here.. With tears falling freely....heart wrenching true life stories... Of the true horror of being a smoker.... I have yet not been able to talk about watching my bezzie mate of 62 years ...take her last breath ..suffering pancreatic cancer....in April... Still a smoker...her last one 24 hrs before she passed... I will never stop missing her every second of every day.... It's hard to watch someone you love ...believe they carnt quit....

  14. That little word NO.... It's so small ,but the hardest word to say....your not alone Linda...I struggle here too.... It does take pratice ....but the more you say it...the easier it gets.... I'm proud of you....

  18. Stick with us P !!! You havnt been smoking long...I wish I had quit at 31....your body will heal ...you can do it....believe in yourself...and please... Read all you can here...educated yourself...it will help you along...
  19. P.... Smoking has killed more people than all the wars out together.... Your right to be scared...... I'm glad to hear your taking your life seriously.... I'm guessing your quite young...and you have most of your life ahead of you...
  20. Aww Linda....I had to take a deep breath reading this.... My frying pan is for those special times... When someone is contemplating putting a cancer stick in their mouth..and losing their fabulous quit... I would rather send you a hug .... I'm sorry you are dealing with a troublesome mum.... But hey !!!!.....you never once felt like smoking...so you my dear have my respect.... Don't let anyone rob you of your quit... Make sure you and your hubby enjoy every moment until next week... I will leave the pan hanging up for now sweetheart....
  21. This is a crippling illness.... Slowly getting worse.... My hubby has suffered for years....needs oxygen regularly for 16 hrs a day....

  23. Great hionest post ML.... Sooooo happy you fought for your quit..the battles get easier...until that wonderful day...you reolize your not fighting any more.. I've yet to read a post from someone who who relapsed ,and is delightfully happy....who has some weeks under their belt.... They are back to being where they were ...and wishing they could turn back the clock ,to where they were.... Don't think of one cigarette...this is a addiction....think of all those thousands will follow ....
  24. Welcome aboard Mel... Spend the weekend reading all the info here ,and watch all joels video,s... You won't have to feel alone anymore...there is a train full of folks to support you through your journey.... Looking forward to getting to know you better.... Quitting is so doable....
