This is only the beginning too Nana...the benefits keep on coming ... The first thing I noticed was ...That horrible thick creamy coating on my tongue had disappeared ... I actually found out my tongue was a nice clean pink healthy looking thing ... I was very proud of this new finding ... Since smoking from the tender young age of 11 ....and smoked 52 years ....I never imaging this is what a tongue should look like ...

I agree..we are proud of you Newbies you are Amazing ...!!!!Hello and welcome ....Smoking effects all your body ....you should be scared .!!!!! Stay around and read some of the horror stories here.... My Hubby passed away last year due to severe Emphysema..... This is something you definitely don't want .... Now time to lose in quitting ...your body starts to heal from day one .... Stay around and join in with the newbies .... Congratulations your a non smoker ...18....come on guys ...play nice !!!NOPE......this how it's done ....Day by Day !!!!...Aww this is sad P !!! One hundred is so special .... I too have a big milestone birthday at the end of the year ... No P ....not a hundred !!...god knows if I'll be celebrating.... Not being able to get on a plane and visit Nicky when I want is .......crap .......17 Hi !!!!.....Sinking again ...!!!Stay safe Jo and Birdy ..... Nicky is ok in Canberra.......things can change so fast....
