  14. It’s a newer version of Chantix .. Time will tell whether the side effects will be the same . Cold turkey is the best way
  15. This was announced today . An improved anti-smoking drug called Varenicline is being rolled out by England's National Health Service (NHS). The pill is more effective than nicotine-replacement gum or patches, and as effective as vapes, in helping people to stop smoking, according to NHS England. This is great news

  20. Many folks on here have had a smoking dream , and have been so relieved when reality has set in . I never did have one of those dreams , maybe deep down in my conscience I knew I couldn’t smoke again due to fear of amputation. I can only imagine how pleased and relieved you were QG your precious quit was safe

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
