I went into our local little store yesterday ....It was packed .... How many wore a mask....1....yes me ....that was it .... They looked at me as if I was a alien .... What's the matter with this people.....why carnt they just be polite ,and follow the rules ... Whether they believe it helps of not ..

You smoked a long time Kate .... Of course it's normal to have thoughts ....it's what you do with those thoughts that count..... I think of smoking sometimes ....how horrible it would be ...choking myself .... The longer you go Sweetheart....the thought will change ..Trust me ....

Every smoker does know the risks ....but its a case of ...It Won't Happen To Me..... Or Wait until you get a sign all is not good then quit out of sheer fear ... There's nothing like a big dollap of Fear to help you along .... My hubby had COPD/Emphysema... I watched him suffer and get worse and worse .... Did that stop me ....No ... What stopped me was being told I was about to have my both feet amputated,if I didn't stop.... I wasn't even sure it was too late when I joined these good folks ... Can you imagine that sinario.... Someone who needed a wheel chair because his lungs were failing ..had a partner who would also need a wheel chair due to no feet .... Just imagine that situation ... Linda you should be very frightened of the health issues .... Don't wait till it's too late .... I was lucky ...in fact very lucky .... unfortunately Hubby wasn't ......

Have to agree ... While you still smoke in and off...your giving enough time for things to heal.... I didn't have a cough either or coughed up after quitting ,and j smoked 52years.... Everyone is different ,we all heal different .. Take your seat here ...read all...watch all the videos ....Knowledge will be your weapon to fight with ... Be patient.....time is a great healer ...
